CARPET

• Vacuum at least once a week using a top quality vacuum cleaner
• Act quickly when anything is dropped or spilled on the carpet — the longer the spill or staining material remains on the carpet, the more difficult it may be to remove (even carpet with a stain resistant treatment is not stain proof)
• Never scrub spills or stains — always blot
• Deep clean your carpet at least once every 12 to 18 months using a certified professional cleaner

• Vacuum regularly
• Use a Bousada recommended wood floor cleaner - never use wax, household detergent, or oil-based soap on a wood floor
• Wipe up spilled water, liquids, or detergents before they are absorbed by the wood fibers
• Maintain relative humidity between 35% and 50% and a temperature of approximately 20° Celsius (68°F) in your home
• Glue felt pads to the legs of furniture and chairs to avoid scratching flooring when objects are moved

• Wash frequently
• Use good quality neutral or alkaline cleaning products recommended by Bousada.
• Reseal if necessary

• Sweep daily
• Remove excess water and wipe up spills immediately

• Wipe the countertop completely dry after spills and cleaning
• Use soapy water, ammonia based cleaner (not window cleaner), rinse and wipe completely dry
